Note: This isn't a Lv.X card. The "X" in its name comes from "Xous," just like the "G" at the end of Team Galactic cards comes from the fact they're owned by "[Team] Galactic".
My first attempt at making a fake card using proper fonts. My past attempts have all been done using whatever I had at my disposal, rather than using the proper fonts. Here I've used the fonts listed by Gliscorz/Futachimaru. [link]
Since this was my first attempt, there are still many errors. The program I'm currently using isn't the right program to use for this sort of thing, so I had to eyeball a lot of the details.
This card belongs to a "mini-set" of card spoilers I've been writing up for the last few months. The cards are simply Pokémon I like - mostly Legendary Pokémon but also a fair amount of non-Legendaries. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get around to making the other cards, but it won't be until I get better at getting the fonts right. So don't look forward to seeing these kinds of updates too often. xD
Credit to Fangking Omega for the blank, Gliscorz/Futachimaru for telling me the fonts, HeroOfSinnoh for the symbol sheet, and... If I'm forgetting you, let me know so I can credit you properly.
Right now I'm using my usual art program (Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9) but the text editing options are really poor and can't produce the "official" look I'm going for (without lucking out). I think I need to start saving up for Photoshop or something so that I can have a reliable way to add the text.
Jasc is still what I'll use for the artwork and things like that, but text-wise it's not good at all.
If you really want Photoshop, you can download it free on the internet. I got Photoshop CS5 and it works perfectly. If I ever find the link again, I can send it to you if you wish.
By the way, awesome job with the card! I would love to see it in production!
I appreciate the offer, but I don't download programs illegally. If paying is the only way one is supposed to obtain a certain program, then I try to save up for that program. It doesn't help the company that makes the program if I got it without paying.
...I play the card game. Why didn't I remember that?
