My artwork for Arceus... I'm not sure what version. Since the only artwork I have for the other forms of Arceus is quite old and colored in a different style, I felt I needed to make new artwork for each form.

I decided to include Plates with the forms that had them, just for a cool effect. Normal- and ???-Type are the only two forms that don't use Plates. (??? never had a Plate programmed for it, since that form isn't meant to be obtained.) Ultimately, I'm pleased with how this turned out.

Please don't use any of my artwork, including this piece, without my permission. Thank you.

Bug, Dark, (Normal), Dragon, Electric
Fighting, Fire, (Normal), Flying, Ghost
Grass, Ground, Ice, Poison, Psychic

ooooooooooooooh now i see what you're asking!
what's so great about Arceus? it's the only legendary with such balanced stats, the only one that can come in multiple types besides an added flying. it's the pokemon god, literally. basically, what you asked is like saying "why is deoxys or genesect so good"

there's no type advantages or disadvantages
the original arceus was ??? type, and supposed to have a normal plate

is the ??? type resistant to fighting types too? what about it's judgement? isn't it super-effective against any type?
